The Olive Grove
It is in the town of Fontanelle di Atri and Faiete, and is composed
of 20 hectares of land with about 5.000 trees of different age.
The annual average production is about 1.000 quintals of olives
from which we make 12.000 bottles of extra virgin olive oil,
which is sold through our distributors.
The Fruit Trees
Peach, nectarine, plum, and cherry trees grow on 35 hectares of
land, and the fruit is sold in the most important European markets.
The Stock Farm
The company raises Frisona cows for the production of fresh high-quality milk.
Situated in the town of Fontanelle di Atri, the stock farm occupies about 400 hectares of irrigated land for the growth of fodder to dry.
The company - in a closed cycle - produces on its own all food necessary for the raising of the animals even with its own plant for stocking and processing of cereal for obtaining concentrated meal for integrating foods.
The zootechnical centre in Fontanelle extends on about 40.000 square metres of which 4.500 covered.
It has two zootechnical centres with milking room, paddocks, barns, and shelters for the animals in the different phases of production, for a total of about 550 pieces of livestock.
The cows are about 270 and the annual production corresponds to the assigned quote of 2.000.000 Kg., equal to about 6.000 Kg. a day.
The stock farm supplies the organic material necessary for the periodical manuring of the whole area.
